new study focuses on the Prozac side effects affecting teenagers from the ages between 12 to 17 years old. Over half of adolescents who have used Prozac as a means of recovering from major depression, have found that the treatment will fail within 5 years. This has not just been the case of Prozac, however majority of cases were based on teenagers who suffered from depression and used Prozac.

Over 200 individuals were surveyed and participated in the report. The report found that 57 percent of female participants who had depression in the past, had reoccurring incidences afterward. Similarly, 33 percent of boys suffered the same thing. You can read the complete report online for free here.
